Dream Interpretation has been considered mainly a New Age practice belonging predominantly to the realm of the psychics and psychoanalysts, whereas the Ancient Hebraic method focuses on parables or stories with a deeper meaning.
There are many different types of dreams:
DREAMS OF DESTINY:- These show you what you are uniquely gifted to do and can give guidance in your life and vocation.
DREAMS OF ENCOURAGEMENT:- These are “feel-good” dreams. You feel like you are on the top of the world, ready for anything. These can change the course of your life.
DREAMS OF COURAGE:- Often contain a strong sense of urgency. They challenge you to take action. They inspire and motivate you to get up and do something.
DREAMS OF COMFORT:- These heal our emotions and memories and can help us to reinterpret circumstances of our past and see things differently.
DREAMS OF CORRECTION:- Reveal personal changes in character issues, things that we need to put right, before we go forward, unlike comfort dreams, they may unsettle at first, because we don’t like or want change.
DREAMS OF DIRECTION:- These are at a higher level of insight and will conveya sense of urgency. Their purpose is to give specific guidance and may even include a warning. They can fill us with a longing for a quality we do not currently possess and inspire us to pursue it.
DREAMS OF INSTRUCTION:- Primarily teaching dreams – fine line between these and dreams of direction – instructive dreams teach us and frequently you will hear a voice speaking to you.
These are just a small example of the different kinds of dreams we have.

Hi Erin
This is a really strange, reoccuring dream that I don’t think is very spiritual but would be interested in your interpretation….
The scenario changes but I am in need of finding a toilet and every time I find one there is someone already in it or more commonly there are no walls or doors so I feel exposed and there are people watching me. It goes on for ages with me feeling urgent about finding an empty toilet.
Very weird…I figure it sounds like I have something to hide or something like that but can’t think what it might be. I feel like I am a fairly open person..and I don’t have a bladder problem…so very confused…..any ideas??
I also often dream about being chased but can never remember by who or what…wake up with my heart pounding….your thoughts on this too please?
Blessings

Hi Kelly,
This is actually a very common dream, and is what I call a “cleansing” dream. Meaning that there is something that is either needing to be cleansed, refreshed, repented from, or unforgiveness or bitterness that needs to be removed in your life. Because it is happening publically means that you are feeling vulnerable. These dreams are not to cause embarrassment, but to bring you into deeper relationship and intimacy with God, where greater transparency is needed. They often come when you are in a place of transition, and you are about to enter a new phase so are being dismantled, ready to be remantled!
Again, chasing dreams are also very common, and can sometimes leave you feeling rather frightened. They often reveal enemies that are at work, coming against your life and purpose.
Looks like you are coming into a new phase in your life and the enemy would like you to be in a place of fear, then you will lose your focus and get distracted, but thankfully perfect love casts out all fear, and now you know why this is happening, before going to sleep pray and ask for protection. Decree the scripture “Perfect Love casts out all fear and I am a daughter of the One who is perfect love!” over yourself and what can happen is that because you now realise what is happening, you won’t have the dream anymore, or if you do, your subconscious now knows why it is happening and you can sometimes deal with it in the dream itself.
Hope this helps
Blessings
